Mauricia Courrégé joined Soulez Larivière as an associate in January 1992, before becoming a partner six years later, in the same year as Chantal Bonnard. Today, none of the four partners have a dedicated specialist area. Mauricia Courrégé is no exception to this rule: she advises a wide range of clients in both civil and criminal matters. They include ordinary individuals, small companies, banks and multinationals working in other industries. She does admit, however, that she often handles issues that fall under the broad label of "business law", both in civil and sometimes criminal courts.
"Business law is not abstract", she explains. "It affects the lives of the people making up the company. It could not be more concrete... You are providing a service, of course. But you are also doing something more, something very real. Even when it concerns companies, it directly touches the lives of the people involved."
