A member of the Paris Bar since 2017, Pauline Dufourq began her career as part of the Investigation, White Collar & Fraud team at Hogan Lovells in Paris. She subsequently joined Soulez Larivière Avocats as an associate. With a dual degree in business criminal law (Combating Organized and Financial Crime) and a university degree in finance from the University of Aix-en-Provence, Pauline has a solid academic background that enables her to handle cases in criminal law, business criminal law, transnational criminal law, and environmental criminal law.
She also has practical experience gained through various internships at law firms specializing in criminal defense (Molla Bass, Jean Boudot, and Henri Leclerc & Associés). Pauline also had the opportunity to gain insight into the workings of the courts and the corporate world by working alongside an investigating judge in the financial crimes division in Paris, as well as at a financial firm in London.
Since joining the firm, Pauline has primarily handled cases involving corporate criminal law, particularly in the areas of tax fraud, cross-border corruption, fraud, and money laundering. She also handles complex cases involving unintentional offenses.
Pauline Dufourq assists companies and executives with particularly challenging aspects of cross-border litigation, such as dual criminality, as well as in cases involving seizures and forfeiture and in plea bargaining. She regularly advises companies on compliance with anti-corruption legislation and the French law on corporate due diligence.
Among her recent cases is the defense, alongside Capucine Lanta de Bérard, of a defendant whose case was dismissed in the Dropped case, as well as the defense of a sports agent before the Paris Criminal Court, which resulted in a partial acquittal in a dispute concerning intermediary activities in professional soccer. She also served as counsel for civil parties before the Specially Composed Assize Court of Paris in connection with the Magnanville attack case.
Pauline also assists in conducting internal investigations, particularly in cases involving reports of psychological or sexual harassment, discrimination, corruption, or, more generally, ethical violations.
Pauline has published several articles on criminal justice and received an award from the Marseille Bar Association in 2015 for her work in business criminal law. In 2018, she was interviewed by the French Institute for Rights and Freedoms as part of a study conducted for the FRA (European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights) on respect for procedural rights in criminal proceedings, particularly regarding the European arrest warrant. Since 2022, Pauline has been a member of the “Vigilance Law” committee of the Club des Juristes. She has also taught environmental criminal law at the Sciences Po Paris Law School.
Pauline was promoted to counsel in 2026.
